Charlotte Kendrick "Off The Tracks"

For fans of Americana and alt-country, there is some certain satisfaction in finding a great artist in the proverbial haystack, seeing them play live in some roadhouse and, after they hit it big, run around saying you "saw them when...". Well, if that sounds like you, then take it from me and start jumping on the Charlotte Kendrick bandwagon. It won't be difficult; her songs are top notch, well-written odes to life inside and outside of the city, and if you live on the East Coast or down in Texas, you can say you "saw her when" for as little as five bucks this fall. This one is a no-brainer.
