Amy LaVere "Pointless Drinking"

Amy LaVere makes rootsy, slightly off-kilter and sometimes suprising countrified tunes, most of which are outstanding, and I'm happy she's getting this nice ripple of recognition which deserves to keep growing. To get a better idea of her sound, I highly reccomend this review on NPR's 'Fresh Air'.

Pointless drinking? That's one to ponder...I mean, good reasons or bad reasons, isn't there always a reason? Perhaps best to crack another cold one and not kill ourselves trying to figure it our right this minute.
