Gabriel & Dresden 11.16.2005, Electronic Element

As always, I like to send you into Friday with a good set of ass-shaking wax, today courtesy of Gabriel & Dresden. Nobody else currently in the realm of dance music (IMHO) is as adept with the remix as these two cats. There's a certain bliss being on the dancefloor during their set, when suddenly out of the wall of sound comes a few notes from one of your old favorite songs (witness in this particular set: The Cure), or the transformation of an otherwise intolerable pop song into a phat club track (witness in this particular set: Madonna).
