Peter Morén

Not idling for a moment in the downtime of his sparkling band Peter Bjorn And John (their most recent still in steady rotation 'round here at the Podflash headquarters) Peter Morén is about to drop his 0h-so-Swedish songwriting knowledge on us with his new solo platter The Last Tycoon, due April 8th. Not unlike Paul McCartney's McCartney, where he played the bulk of the instruments himself, Morén takes a similar approach. The results, similarly, are a more intimate, heartfelt experience outside the other voices of his band. The melodies have a particular impact, and the lyrics would make Dylan proud.
