Radiohead @ Bonnaroo, 2006

Thom Yorke's solo album, in the humble opinion of this yankee blogger, is truly like manna from heaven. Unlike many Radiohead diehards, I didn't come around to the band until the Amnesiac/Kid A era, and still have little use for the first three records. The minimal abstract bleeps that pervade those latter albums (and come to fruition on The Eraser) are for me the dangling golden carrot that has pulled me down the rabbit hole. Of further interest is that they chose to converge on the hippie soiree in Tennessee this year that is fast becoming America's best outdoor festival, despite the patchouli-soaked attendees.
