Congratulate Me, I'm a Dad!

Lest you think that during this blog's downtime I was eating cold pizza and staring out the window (not a bad guess), you should know that Mrs. Flash and I were busy with the birth of our first bundle of sleep deprivation joy, Eden, who was born on Groundhog Day. At the risk of sounding sappy, she's really brought about the best feelings in myself that I've ever experienced. I knew I would enjoy fatherhood, but I had no idea of the absolute instinct that takes over when you see your own child. Add that to the fact I finally saw Van Halen with David Lee Roth, and my beloved New York Football Giants won the Super Bowl (which I watched in the hospital with 1-day old daughter), and I really should go buy a lotto ticket...I'm on a roll!
