The Octopus Project "I Saw The Bright Shinies"

I see via elbo.ws that the mp3 blogosphere is aflutter with good things to say about The Octopus Project, and I would like to add my voice to the growing chorus. It takes a special kind of group to rock a theramin as a lead instrument (i.e., not some kind of novelty sound), and the quilt of sound the band weaves is both rich and haunting. Comparisons to Stereolab are probably unavoidable, but the aesthetic here is something else entirely.
