Pharrell "Can I Have It Like That?"

For someone who prides himself on being relatively in touch with the pipeline of music shooting through our consciousness, I felt somewhat humbled after only hearing this song for the first time last week. I had just (belatedly) gotten Pharrell's In My Mind disc, listened to it once, enjoyed it, and then moments later heard today's download on a beer commercial--solidifying the fact that even a swinging hipster can occasionally (frequently) be (woefully) behind the times. Nonetheless, the bass line here kicks major ass, and Gwen Stefani is a welcome accent, despite how dated my tastes may be. And, incidentally, the beer was delicious.
