T In The Park

In my neverending quest to become an honorary Scotsman, I'm only too happy to oblige a request from Carrier (Me brotha from anotha motha) for a shout-out for T In The Park.

One of the many things our mates across the pond do better than us Yanks is a) Soccer, b) Outdoor Festivals, c) Drinking, or d) All of the above. If you answered "d", there may be hope for you yet.

Click on the above link for T in The Park and try not to faint when you see the frigging lineup. Only our own Coachella rivals such a gathering, but the edge here is for the Scots, since they are smart enough not to hold such a concert in the middle of a hot, dry, and completely inhospitable desert. Not to mention the abandon with which they celebrate; it has simply never been equalled on these shores.

Although I am obvioulsy jealous, here are some choons for your ride to the show, my friends. Enjoy the Slam Tent, and hoist a cold one for me.

Hi flash, greetings from the edinburgh contingent of the bo'ness massive. I will also be at tin the park though unlike carrier I will be there for both days. Really lookin forward to seeing the legend that is jeff mills again. Last saw him in about'93 or '94, though he has not turned up to more clubs I've went to than has. Bit of a bummer but the other techno legend that is dave clarke masterfully took his place at the last minute and more than saved the day. Also lookin to see the orb playin live again.Little fluffy clouds is possibly the best chillout choon going. Great site by the way, will pop back soon.
