Tiga: Essential Mix, 4/9/06

As I always like to do on Fridays, here's a bit of the ol' thumpy-thump to help you get ready for your hooj weekend. This particular Essential Mix was a welcome one for me, as I think a bit of humor in dance music is very important. When you're jumping all around making those ridiculous faces at the club (or in your flat getting ready for the club for that matter), it's paramount that we not take ourselves very seriously. Tiga's choice of platters not only induce that ass shaking and ridiculous face making, the make you smirk or laugh outright when you hear some of them. We could all use a bit more of that, no?
