Electronic music as a recognized genre is still so young that the deaths of its progenitors seems somehow impossible, or out of place (Starkid comes to mind, but few others). And while dance music is very much of its moment, I hope those of us intimately involved in it will keep the memory of guys like Mark Spoon alive. Rest in peace.
