Covering a song that is still getting radio airplay by its original artist is something people nowadays find a bit odd, but in truth, it's a practice that was not only normal but frequent in early rock and pop, especially in the 50s & 60s. Jimi Hendrix, for instance, once opened a show with 'Sgt. Pepper' the very week it came out. It seems this practice of giving immediate props to a great song is making a bit of a comeback. It even happened to the White Stripes a couple years back when Audioslave started covering "Seven Nation Army" live. Here, Jack and Meg tackle Tegan & Sara's Walking With A Ghost.
